The F-3000 LC is a small form factor fibre optic connector based on the 1.25 mm ferrule style. Diamond's F-3000 LC connector is designed according to IEC-61754-20 international standard and therefore fully LC standard compatible. The F-3000 LC includes many of the proven features of the popular E-2000 connectors including the positive latching and integrated dust cap mechanisms.
Through the use of a simple metallic bridge and an extended thumb-latch, the F-3000 LC can be duplexed offering the same performance and stability of the simplex connector. Both PC and APC versions are available as standard or low insertion loss (0.1dB) connectors.
The F-3000 LC Optical Fibre Attenuator (OAF) provides a precise and repeatable amount of light loss (attenuation) via a doped fibre. This results in wavelength independent and stable attenuation values from 1310 up to 1550 and more. These high performance attenuators are packaged in a robust and convenient 33 mm long housing and are available in SM PC and high return loss (HRL) APC versions.
The backplane version utilises the F-3000 LC ’s extremely compact design with a sophisticated guiding mechanism for secure backplane connection. A backplane clip bridge for 2 or 4 connectors is available.
When mated the PCB connector is retained in the mating adapter eliminating all stress on the PC Board and ensures stress release of the print board after insertion of fibre optic connectors.
