Thanks to it’s minimum space requirement, the DMI is an ideal solution for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) applications. DMI connectors are based on standard 2.5mm diameter ferrules and are designed to operate with MM & SM fibres, 0° PC as well as 8° APC Polished.
The DMI mating adapter has the minimum space requirement and provides a high packing density (footprint of 4.5mm x 21mm when assembled) and yet it gives up nothing in performance with it’s high precision alignment sleeve (zirconia). The DMI is available as: Standard, Polarization Maintaining (PM), and Power Solution.
